アディヨガを文字通り訳すと、「オリジナルのヨガ」という意味をもつ。
このクラッシックなスタイルのハタヨガの流派は、インド北部で幾世紀にもわ
たって練習されてきたものであり、身体的な技法を通じて、クンダリーニとヨギ
たちに呼ばれる、純粋な意識を輝かせる、自由へいたるエネルギーの道を覚醒さ
せることを目的とした、魂を磨くメソッドである。
このワークショップでは、ダルマニディが古代からの教えを、現代社会を生きる
修練者に向けて、生き生きと復興させてくれるものとなるだろう。
Adi-Yoga literally means "original yoga." This classical form of Hatha
Yoga is the way yoga has been practiced in the mountains of northern
India for centuries. It is a body path of spiritual cultivation, leading
to the liberation of radiant, blissful energy of Pure Awareness known to
yogins as Kundalini. In this in-depth seminar, the first of the Adi
Gates classes, Dharmanidhi will transmit these ancient teachings to
modern-day practitioners as a living system.
＜講師紹介＞
Dharmanidhi/ダルマニディ
1964年シカゴ生まれ。幼少より霊的な体験を重ね、自然療法、ヨガ、武術、瞑
想を学ぶ。
カイロプラクティックを大学院で学んだあと、オーストラリアにわたり、人々の
治癒に貢献する。
インド人のグル、スワミ・サッチャナンダ師のシステムで学びを受け、1997年に
伝統継承者として、西洋人に古典タントラの叡智を伝えるよう促され、米国へ。
ヴァサント・ラド先生のもとでアーユルヴェーダ、ハート・ドゥ・フォー先生の
もとでヴェーダ占星術の知識を身につけ、カリフォルニアはバークレー市にヨガ
マンダラを設立し、カシュミール・シャイヴァズム・タントラ哲学やアディ・ヨ
ガを通じ、自分の可能性を最大限に発揮して、自由に生きるヒントを教えてくれる。
Dharmanidhi was bor in Chicago in 1964. He encountered many spiritual
incidents since young and naturallydrwan to studying natural healing
system, yoga, meditation,and martial arts.
After studying the art of Chirpractic, he moved to Australia and helped
people heal.
He studied with Swami Satyananda Saraswati and became one of the lineage
holders in 1997.
His guru told him to move back to the States and start helping
westerners which he did.
Dharmanidhi studied Vedic astrology with Hart De Fow and studied
Ayurveda with Dr. Vasan Lad.
He established Yoga Mandala in Berkeley, California and guides students
to fully live their lives through teaching kashmir shivism tantra and
the classical hatha yoga system of adi yoga.
